Suggestion: Link to guides (source)

Mar 26, 2011 at 9:52 PM

Hey

I have importing masteries trees from mobafire.com very often and I think it's a really great option with "Import" button. But sometimes when I want to play champions which I played about few times I must search guids on mobafire again.

So if I imported a masteries tree from this site maybe it's a good idea to put a link to source from I import a tree somewhere under the masteries tree in Autolol. I think that might be usefull for peoples who sometimes want to play a new champ but don't remember items and ability order.

I hope you understand my suggestion. :)

Do you mean importing by saving a file on your pc, or just using them in LoL?

A Link to source seems like a good idea to me :D, because most builds explain the champion, so that's quite handy.

Yeah but for the items, there is an recommended item changer (people from AutoLoL are saying to use Yaric -> link : http://autolol.codeplex.com/discussions/240932)

Yeah I use similar program LoL Item Changer. It's very helpful.

Anyway I thought about solution like this: http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/127/snap073c.jpg

It's simple save a link to guild from you imported a masteries. Link should be active (hotlink). I think it should be helpful for many players.

Yeah I'm using that one too, because Yaric doesn't have any user-friendliness.

But the hot link is an good idea :D

But you need to discuss it with the build site (I'm using mobafire)

Or an site where you can post your AutoLoL builds...

I think he means having autolol save the link that you imported to the mastery so you can reference back to it in the future. Stay tuned. AutoLoL 2.0 may have an alternative to what you are looking for.

Unfortunatly not, we are both extremely busy.

Another issue we have is that AutoLoL 2.0 is developed for the new patcher format. We are hoping RIOT will make it final some time soon, or we're in trouble ;)
